Amp up the flavor on your turkey this holiday with a signature brine from Oaktown Spice Shop. Each blend is hand-mixed in Oakland using freshly ground spices. Choose from classic or smoky. 

The Brine mix makes 1.5 gallons of brine—enough for one medium turkey, or two whole chickens. For an extra-large turkey, pick up two packages of brine mix!

Instructions:
 add contents of packet to 3 qts of water and simmer for 10 min. Allow to cool, then add enough ice to solution to make 6 qts total liquid. Pour brine into double-lined plastic bag containing bird and refrigerate for 8-12 hrs (overnight). Rinse and pat dry before cooking. 

Classic Ingredients: sea salt, pure cane sugar, yellow mustard, chile flakes, cinnamon, celery seed, bay leaves, juniper berries, white & black peppercorns, cloves, allspice, ginger, dill seed.

Smoky Ingredients: smoked sea salt, pure cane sugar, yellow mustard, chile flakes, cinnamon, celery seed, bay leaves, juniper berries, white & black peppercorns, cloves, allspice, ginger, orange zest, other spices.

Our butchery processes orders within two business days. You will receive an email when your order is out for delivery. 

Pickup is every Friday from 11-5 PM. You will receive an email when your order is ready to pick up. Please have this email with you to receive your product.

For years we've traversed the West Coast meeting ranchers, farmers, chefs,  artisan producers, and tinkerers of all stripes. We're driven by meat, but we've picked up some delicious meat-adjacent goods along the way.

The Cream Co. Pantry is a way to make some of our favorite items from our personal pantries and kitchens available to you, and help spread the word for producers we love.
